For those of you who live in Indiana, which I will venture to say, most of you do, you know that Fall does not mean cool. At least right away. This year was certainly no different because on the first day of Fall, I got to photograph this gorgeous family at Fairfield Lakes north of Dayton, Indiana. Fall, to me, always brings to mind cozy sweaters, hot beverages, and the beginning stages of that amazing and fulfilling feeling of hygge (go look it up). This day, this Fall day, was anything but cozy—at least temperature wise. Through the heat, we managed to capture these amazing moments with this super gorgeous family. Extended family, really as Stacey and Adela, the two lovely ladies in these portraits, are sisters.
I loved the interaction between the families, the cousins, and how we all worked together to create something wonderful for both sets of families to cherish for a lifetime.
So while I don’t get to photograph as many families as I have in the past, I am always glad to and this family is no exception. Thank you Stacey, Alan, BJ, Adela and kids for coming out to make the most of this day!
