True love is something that exists. It’s not just about the fairytales and magic wands. It’s a real, tangible, proven thing. Each couple that I meet to curate their special day, has a story. Savannah and Tom met in high school after she and her family moved her from Missouri. 7 years later, they’re engaged and getting ready for their wedding this fall. I really enjoyed this couple because they were so low key and easy to work with–and it’s evident that their affection runs bone deep for one another.
We spent our evening in West Lafayette and ended in Battle Ground. The weather was absolutely muggy and hot–but these cool cats were all eyes for one another, dancing, laughing, and having a wonderful time. We ended on a bridge just near sunset, almost into the blue hour. The mosquitos were starting to eat us alive so we definitely had to make a run for it but I wanted to end the session with a ring shot because DETAILS ARE LIIIIIFE. This ring is particularly out of this world because her stone is AN ACTUAL METEORITE NO BIG DEAL FOLKS! –Sorry–I’m absolutely crazy about diamonds and rings but I love a unique approach to a token of love. Tom can now say he gave her something way cooler than the moon (Sorry George Bailey from It’s a Wonderful Life) a meteorite traveled millions and millions of miles to join these two together.
Without further blah blah blahs, here are a few from their session. Wish them all the best for their October wedding!
