Shaela & Dustin – An Engagement

Every love story has something unique about it. Whether it’s where you fell in love, a missed connection, something funny, something miraculous, or just really–anything. Every love story is unique.

However, what binds us all together is the familiarity that most of us feel when reading about someone else’s love story. Whether fact or fiction, sparkly undead men, blonde southern belles with a taste (pun intended) for vampires, or something else–we all love a good love story. That is exactly what this is–a good old fashioned love story.

Shaela and Dustin met in high school. Although what some might consider a little “wild and crazy”, Shaela soon fell for Dustin’s shenanigans and everything else is history. Through 4 years of colleges apart, different graduation dates, and another 3 years, they have endured so much already.

Their future is already written together and when they say “I do” this September, it will be the first day of the rest of their lives beginning.

Our session began at Purdue, Shaela’s alma mater, that she just graduated from this Spring. Of course, there was excessive construction so we didn’t stay too long. But we had the perfect amount of light and few people in order to capture and stage their love. Afterward, we drove out to north of Dayton and played in the creek before finding ourselves at the absolutely perfect place to end our evening.

What I love about Shaela and Dustin is their absolute cohesion and ability to work together to overcome adversity. Shaela and her family opened their doors and hearts to Dustin these past few years and I know that both families will be gaining such a wonderful addition when they are married in Romney this fall.

Shaela is a talented educator and will make an amazing teacher this fall in White County while Dustin begins his Master’s Degree in Behavior Therapy. Shaela is also a very talented makeup consultant. Here is her current lineup in case you wanted to recreate this classic but gorgeous look from the Lipsense lineup.

Light Tinted Moisturizer, Cherry BlushSense, Seafoam Shimmer, Denim and Shell Glitter (for her eyes) and LashSense mascara. Here’s a link over to her page.

Wish them the best in the comments below and keep your eyes open for their wedding the last weekend in September!
