Alyssa & Riley – An Engagement

When I say dreams do come true, I absolutely mean it. At least in regards for me. Ha! But on a serious note. This session was absolutely amazing. Alyssa and Riley have such a fun story that I’m going to share here too along with their gorgeous engagement.

Alyssa and Riley have been friends for the past few years since he transferred from out of state college to Purdue. He met a Alyssa through their local church and in the past few years grew their friendship and even went to South Africa on a mission trip together. That was all before they even began dating.

Like a very familiar love story (my own), they met at church and Riley asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend this past January. I guess when you know that you want to spend a lifetime with someone, no amount of time whether short or long can dictate how you approach your future. So, Riley proposed in May to Alyssa and she said yes! A week later she had contacted me and we spoke at length via video chat since she’s still down and a ways away until later this month, having finished up her first year as a FACS teacher. She will be joining the local ranks at Harrison High School this fall while Riley completes his undergraduate at Purdue University.

This couple has been an absolute dream to work with and their photos have been some of my absolute favorites thanks to some very beautiful Indiana weather!

We adventured, we created, they loved, and we all had a some good laughs. 

So from Ross Camp to this amazing field and beyond, we had the best time. I just sent their gallery over to them and wanted to share with you some of my absolute favorites. It was a dream session and I’m so looking forward to their forever spent with one another.
