An Elegant Constellation Themed Wedding at Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana

Reyna and Neil are officially married! Even though this couple had to face a longer engagement than they originally planned, it didn’t make their wedding day any less beautiful. This elegant constellation themed wedding at Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana truly made the stars align on this perfect late summer date.

Reyna and Neil met online through a dating site and soon after meeting, fell in love. Through their chilly proposal on Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois to their downtown Chicago engagement session last summer, and to their original April 2020 wedding date, these two have faced so many ups and downs.

Unfortunately, when the pandemic approached, they were the first of my couple’s to face reorganizing and moving venues and dates. Together, the three of us worked together to find a new date and location. While the original plan was to host their wedding at Purdue University, the stars had something else in store. Thankfully, their elegant constellation themed wedding at Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana was perfect as you’ll see below.

What I admire most about this couple is their ability to be flexible, strong, and resilient. Their love has carried them through and despite having a slightly smaller wedding than they originally had planned, it worked out perfectly.

Some of my favorite moments from this perfectly elegant constellation themed wedding at Black Iris Estate in Carmel Indiana are as follows.

Reyna and Neil shared intimate letters to one another before the ceremony and Reyna gifted Neil his favorite cologne.

Reyna shared a fun first look with her wedding party in the bridal prep areas at Black Iris Estate and it was so special.

All of the ladies received a bridesmaid gift of their star sign. These very subtle nods to constellations were elegant, perfect, and a sentimental gift and thank you for being a part of their wedding day.

Neil’s uncle, Smokey, was the officiant of their wedding and shared some very kind words to both bride and groom during the ceremony.

Unfortunately, Reyna’s parents were unable to attend the wedding due to travel restrictions from Mexico to the US, so in the matter of a week, her brother set up a professional video to be made for the couple. Reyna’s father and mother shared their love, blessings, and memories of Reyna growing up and the joy and surprise on their face was one of the most beautiful and moving moments of any wedding I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing.

Finally, Reyna and Neil hosted a photobooth at their wedding and I had the opportunity of working with a great new friend to photograph that under the New Adventure Productions brand. If you were at the wedding, here is a link to the photobooth images for you to download, print, and share!

I am grateful to get to serve all of my clients in a holistic capacity during their wedding planning process. I am so grateful to Reyna and Neil for having us as a part of their wedding day team and along with the amazing vendors, below, we all worked together successfully to help them have the best day.

Thank you, Reyna and Neil! We wish you all the love and happiness and may the stars continuing guiding you along the way!
