Ashley and Reid’s vintage Halloween wedding hosted at 51 West Event Center in Frankfort, Indiana is the perfect eclectic mix of two amazing people in love. Ashley’s love for Halloween combined with Reid’s love for music, his family, and of course, Ashley, made for a beautiful vintage Halloween wedding.
What is a vintage Halloween wedding? Well, I’m glad you asked. Imagine beautiful and tasteful decor for Halloween, but done in the 50s. Ashley’s signature style is 50s pinup and so it was a no brainer that she’d have her wedding in the same fashion.
Since moving in with one another at Reid’s home in Frankfort, the two have worked hard on the decor and details. As the year moved on, they added more and more decorations to the vintage inspired Halloween wedding theme and when October 31st arrived, they were ready!
Joined together in holy (or unholy?) matrimony, Ashley and Reid shared their vows and love with one another. While neither Ashley nor Reid are much for dancing, they held a short and sweet first dance. When it came time for the father-daughter dance, Ashley and her father chose to dance to Black Betty, a classic favorite for both of them.
From their Funko pop cake toppers to their spooky decorations, everything on their wedding day was perfect. They were even able to include their respective Hogwarts house colors, scarves, and wands for some of their wedding portraits.

Ashley’s advice to other couples “Please, do what you want to do. I know it sounds silly or selfish, but the one thing I will know for certain at the end of the day is that I choose all of the details. Also, remember what you’re getting married for….I have stopped stressing because at the end of the day, I get to marry my best friend. That is truly the only thing that matters to me.”
