Intimate Fall Barn Wedding | Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn | Brooke and Matt

Everyone knows that 2020 has been a tough year. When Brooke and Matt, who first met through a mutual friend, were engaged, the last thing they thought they’d have to face were multiple wedding postponements. Unfortunately, 2020 has had its tough way with all of us. But remember, hope is never truly gone! This intimate fall barn wedding at Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn made up for all the postponing.

Typically, fall barn weddings at Vintage Oaks don’t fall under the intimate feel in that they are not small events. Usually, it’s full of people with booming music and a late night party that lasts until who knows when. At least, that’s what the owners had most likely imagined when they first opened Vintage Oaks a few years back. Originally, Matt and Brooke were to be married the last weekend in May of 2020. Since the pandemic happened, they decided to postpone their wedding until November.

As the year has progressed, not everyone still feels safe and until there truly is a safe vaccine and a slow in the cases, Brooke and Matt decided to again postpone their large wedding. But instead of waiting another year to be married, they instead chose to have an intimate fall barn wedding.

Joined together by Brooke’s brother turned officiant and joined by their closest friends and family members, this small group of family and friends celebrated the marital union of Brooke and Matt.

The entire day was lovely and every detail was perfectly curated for this beautiful bride and her handsome husband. Next year, Brooke and Matt plan on revisiting their wedding venue with another, bigger, more boisterous party and all of their loved ones will be invited. But in the meantime, we can all rest easy knowing that true love has again conquered all.

We wish you both the best and look forward to celebrating with you again next Fall!

Brooke’s Advice to future couples: “Have fun with it! Things will happen that are not your perfect plan but that is okay. The day will be perfect no matter what as long as you’re marrying the person you love unconditionally. At the end of the day that is what your wedding is all about. So, stay calm and enjoy this season of life. Also, choose Nate as your photographer because you won’t regret it!”

(I swear I didn’t ask her to write that!) Thanks, Brooke!
