Kaleb & Stephanie – A France Park Engagement in Logansport, Indiana

This perfect engagement session was filled with all sorts of off camera trouble but at the end of the session, we had all survived and got so many magical and gorgeous moments with Kaleb and Stephanie at France Park in Logansport, Indiana.

Have you ever laughed so loud that you got the attention of strangers?

Well, believe it or not, the laugh didn’t belong to loud ole’ me, but rather to Stephanie, who was dining at IHOP with friends a few years back when Kaleb and his family overheard her. Their meals went on as planned and both Stephanie and Kaleb went to pay at the same time and struck up a short conversation at the cash register. She then noticed that they had both parked next to one another in the parking lot.

Not wanting to miss an opportunity, Stephanie asked Kaleb’s grandmother what his name was and a few days later, she friended him on social media.

It wasn’t until nearly 2 years later that Kaleb connected with Stephanie over Facebook messenger did they remember that they had once been connected by a booth and a laugh at the local IHOP.

From there, Steph and Kaleb began dating and two years later, he proposed in the same booth that they first met at IHOP. Their engagement wasn’t flattened out like a crepe, thankfully, due to COVID-19 and they’ve been able to keep their original plans of marrying one another in July of 2020 at the Willows in Indianapolis.

Their engagement session at France Park in Logansport, Indiana did have a few…hiccups.

Stephanie and Kaleb drove separately from me to head out to Logansport and unfortunately, when they arrived at France Park for their engagement session in Logansport, Indiana, they had some car troubles.

Okay, it wasn’t really car troubles as much as it was a tree root that punctured their gas tank and their entire tank of gas leaked out because of a wrong turn in the maze of France Park.

Thankfully, Steph’s dad helped out with Triple A and the staff at the park was kind enough to lend some support before the session. Even though there were some issues before, their session went smooth and the light was perfectionnnnnnnn.

We got to jam to some great tunes and create some beautiful memories for these two to remember and to look back at and laugh.
